Type 1 diabetic with diabetic kidney issues

Hi,

Im 29 and have had type 1 diaberes since i was 22 months old and for the last 3 years has suffered with thyroid and kidney pronlems where my kidneys leak too much protein, im 12 weeks pregnant and was wondering if there are any other ladies who have been in same position as me and how they managed got through all the negativity from doctors lol and how to actually enjoy the pregnancy without worrying every 5 mins something will go wrong

Girl. I'm a type 1, stage 3 kidney disease, and proud mom of a healthy 16 month old boy. It is possible. You can do this. Stay strong, stay on top of it. It can be done!
 
I have nephrotic kidneys too. I also have an amazing 7 year old. I had to stop all my various pills whilst pregnant but all was good. Try not to worry too much as there isn't much you can do about the kidneys other than keep your BGs down. Enjoy being pregnant
