Hi
New to all this but need help with our 13yr old who also has Cerebral Palsy , also Special Needs, whose weight is increasing, no obesity clubs in my area will help me, no Gyms will take him, we've brought a Rowing Machine to try to help and also included swimming once a week, cut out snacks , the hospital go on and on about his weight and now he refuses to go , where do I go to get help as a parent, I'm giving up the will to live, every door keeps closing.

Here's a wiki article about a local lad Rheed McCracken who has cerebral palsy as well, he overcame the odd's.

Has your GP been any help? Can I ask what insulins your son takes and whether he carb counts?
