My function has been between 14% and  12% for about 5 years and I feel ok bit tired at times but I’m getting older too, dialysis level is below 10 % , I do realise that it’s not if but when , it doesn’t bother me just have to get on with it , saying that it doesn’t mean that all diabetics will suffer my fate , I abused my body diabetically for years , but 42 plus years, of T1 ,  still hear singing and dancing ( well , not actually doing the Saturday night fever bit lol) and getting on with life , I would echo others thought that if the numbers are bothering you just speak to the “ powers”  that be to put ur mind at rest</blockquote>
