Type 1. Weight loss?

Thanks for some helpful responses, I'm not on metformin, I have had type 1 for 15 years and at the moment I'm averaging 35-40 units of insulin a day, so not a huge amount.

I actually started to make a real effort around 6-8 weeks ago so it feels like I should have lost something by now, my fitbit says I should have! Lol.

I am going pretty low carb because it has massively improved my BG's which was the main aim, it's just getting disheartening that I'm still also trying to loose some of the weight and that's not doing anything, and trust me I am not the diet and exercise type so this is a big effort for me! But I guess I will just keep trying!

Hi there I'm Cy, I am 83 and T1 and have been for 5 yrs. my sugars are not to bad, I take Pyrodistigmine for MG, Steroid, Atorvastatin, plus other tablets, I can't do a lot of exercise I soon get tired, the thing is my weight is 90 kg and has been for a year or two, it doesn't move just stays on 90. I would like to bring it down.
