Type 1: What are your HbA1c test results?

Also, my last HbA1c was 72. It's not amazing but it could be worse. I'm working on it.

46! Wow. Thanks to my Libre I think. That is about 7.5% in old money.

Just had my first blood test since diagnosis in June.

139 when I went into hospital with DKA.
41 three months on - very surprised!

Just got back from my first diabetes clinic hospital appointment in 8 years+!

My Hba1c was 7.1! Which is probably the best it's ever been!

I know I could get it down further but I'm happy with my progress!

My last hbac (in June...bit slow to share) was 6.7 in old money - think thats 50 in the new world is it ?
Happy with that as its come down from the the previous which was 7.7.....I've had a slow creeping up of these readings over my 20 year diabetes career.

45 or 6.3, same results as three months ago which was a new best since diagnosis. 17 months on a pump which led to an improvement and using the Libre has taken it up another notch. Just need to maintain/improve.

After a lot of work just had 5.9% and got told it was too low and that I was at risk of developing Hypo unawareness and therefore upsetting the DVLA!!! I CAN'T WIN!!!

Told me the same 5.7 agree you cant win

6.1% thought they'd have been higher but not bad at all

42mmol/mol or 6% Im lucky I have never been over 52 or around 6.5%. I was taught DAFNE from day one and have always multidosed pen injection and felt happy giving insulin as many times a day as needed. I was getting a bit bored with it and less strict and my HbA1c crept upto 52. I recently self funded Dexcom G5 and I am back down to 42.
I dont tend to stress too much about it. I think I am just lucky
