Type 1: What is wrong with rice? Bolusing?

I'm managing to control most foods but rice always sends me sky high. Should I be split dosing my novo rapid for rice or just more ?

You could try basmati rice as it has a lower GI. You could also try bolusing more in advance of your meal.

How much rice are you having, what are you having with it, and what numbers are you getting?

I've tried everything with rice, split bolus, over bolus, really early bolus..... nothing seems to help and I always get unusually high numbers. I've just given up and stopped eating rice.
