Type 1s: Parents & Kids

Hi all,

Any T1parents out there with kids who are also T1? I am T1 & have a 6 year old, he doesn't have diabetes..as far as I'm aware.

Just wondered about other people?!?

One of my paternal uncles has type 1, diagnosed at age 29 with a flu like illness and diabetic coma, has 10 children. Two of them were type 1 and at least 1 of the remaining eight has type 2. One died in early 20's of kidney complications from type 1. This uncle is the one who kept on them when I was small to test and treat my then borderline diabetes. He probably saved my life.
 
My OH is and our youngest but me and my elder daughter are not :)
 
Hi I was diagnosed age 2 and my 2yr old was diagnosed when she had just turned 2. We are both pumping. I've got one year old twins so I keep an eye on them for signs.
