I DID actually PMSL then....AND the boss wants to know what I am laughing at@Knikki . A good tattoo for the more discerning chap to have on his bum could be
“ PTO to inflate”
Good morning, yesterday was not a good day, felt quite unwell, so hoping today will be better. I am going to attempt to hang some washing on the line, I will use a garden chair chair to rest in between ( son out of town today and daughter back at full time work)
Last night I had a 2.9 hypo, corrected it but this morning I was 3.5. Pebbles cat is miaowing to come in so I must go.
Have a great Tuesday
Was there rice, chapatis etc with the curry ? And how knows what spices and sweetening is added to the curry sauces Is a home-cooked meal with no rice and control over the spices a way to go ??One of those days fighting.
Woke up 16.2 and upwardsand I am now @porl69 because I too had a curry and calculated carbs was running low 4 went to bed. According to the Etch A Sketch it did not drop below that all night and went up like a firework from later on
Oh well live and learn and it still will not stop me eating curry
I have been splitting my Lantus (and before my trip to Mercury) for a while but have bumped the morning one up to catch the spike lte in the morning. After sticking half a litre or more of Nova Sluggish (yep, today it is)I am back to 8 and dropping, which is OK.
GYm tonight me thinks and lunch in half an hour, then Costa coffee later, got have something to aim for

And rice has a relatively lousy GI and GL.Rice is a must with curry.....and home made is usually best
@Robinredbreast hope today is a better day for you
@kev-w I am sure you will get the hang of Tresiba with your varied exercise regimes
Woke to a 10.8 this morning, pretty happy as we had curry and rice last night. Split bolus for that, OH and had a piece of cake before bed (small piece). Currently on a very level 5.4
Morning all, assuming it’s still morning by the time I finish typing...
An okayish night on the Etch a Sketch (had to steal it, @Knikki !) spot of dawn phenomenon at around four which I corrected and could get back to sleep. Hovering in the high sixes/low sevens.
You’re all so right about how obsessive the Libre can make us about the numbers. I’m really worried that I’m going to burn out, and then what?
Big hugs @Robinredbreast - be kind to yourself today and feel better soon xxx

I always find curry and rice give me a BIG spike around 3 hours after eating so I usually split dose (same for pizza) AND add an extra 10% on carbs - it works for me. Half just before I eat and then the other half around 2 hours after eating.
I do enjoy a curry too much to stop eating it, same as pizza and home made cake
Can't you train Pebbles to hang out the washing whilst he's out?
Or at least, take care of you.
@Knikki can I ask what bolus insulin you are using?
Pebbles would if she could, she's a lovely cat and gives me lots of head rubs, licks and pawing at me. So she does take care of me in her cat way, love her very much.
I did put the washing out, very slowly, so took my time
