Type 1'stars R Us

Well after my rather traumatic day with fire alarm going off at work and having to deal with an actual small fire, my BG have gone to pot. And I had such a great 24 hours before it.

Not sure if it is maybe the adrenalin which has caused the high BG. Was sitting at 14.9 at one point

Starting to come down slowly now but have taken fairly large correction dose

Ah well type 1 keeps me on my toes, never a dull moment

I was wondering how you got on. I think you can put that down to adrenaline. It'll sort itself out, at least now you know what a day of good blood sugars looks like, and how you achieved, so you should get it again.

Things sorted themselves out, swim and gym which pleased me, 1325m in 32.29 (I ate a nana beforehand ) and 3 Dextrotabs afterwards for the gym, pre-bolussed and tea's finishing off, chicken in a Thai sauce & brown basmati rice and steamed shallots broccoli and sugar snap peas....

The edited pic is showing the drop from swimming

That looks pretty much like a perfect day with you BG

Night night peeps

Hi @helensaramay, I had a pump disconnection for 2 days some years back. I recommenced at usual programmed pumps doses some 6 hours before the Levemir (twice daily use in my case) was going to run out. That seemed to allow enough time for the pump to 'come up to speed' re: BSL control. Best Wishes.

Morning peeps, hope you all had a good BG overnight.

After my high of yesterday afternoon and correction dose I of course jumped back on rollercoaster, with a 3.5 and going down around 9.30 last night. Had my usual a few biccies and coffee with 2 sugar. No difference, Another coffee 2 sugar and eventually back to 5.2 before bed

Surprising overnight BG's though as I normally would be around 9+ after that lot, but no, stayed lowish all night 4.5 then 4.2 befofe getting up to 3.3

Lets hope I can keep this below 7 for rest of day. Thats my benchmark now.

Have a great day one and and all

Good morning, and I'm 10.8, very restless last night, it could be because I have my Job seeker's/Universal credit, telephone 'interview' this morning
Hope it's a Happy Tuesday for you all.

Top of the Morning All

Well bit of a damp squid this merry morning woke up with a rather dissappointing 2.8.

But no worries bit of the old tally ho breakfast soon sorted that malarky out.

Now I'm also playing with some new fangled insulin stuff called Apidra, meant to be like that Novasluggish stuff but quicker active.

Now running 8.1 which means the old BSL has some what jumped up quicker than a fine filly after a fine sunny afternoon romp in the hay

Oh on a side note, after getting badgered by Mr xDrip @Scott-C and her royal purpleness @Mel dCP one has dipped his toes into more tech and got a Miaomiao on order.

So with a 'what ho', 'tiddly pip' and a 'what what what!' best do some work

I heard you the first time...
