Since having the Libre in January this year I have had a fair few 100% in targets. Mostly stopped by hypos (I am hypo unaware). My range is set for 4 - 10 so I have a fairly wide band to stay within. Have scanned a million times today thou....just to make sure

Oh, the last bit is always the worst, when trying for a day in target.

I have my range set at 5--8.5, typically 60% on target 36% above and 4 % below.

Think my record is 23 scans per day. Could not imagine even doing even half of that figure as finger tests

Feeling nervous! Have just put a Libre on for the first time in about 3 weeks. It has gone over 3 layers of Cavilon. Wish me luck, if this doesn’t work I’m one of the hundreds who will be unable to access this brilliant technology. Want it to work this weekend as I have 3 nights in a hotel eating room picnics, and 3 days standing on my feet working at the bird fair.
Have just had a lovely swim, steam and sauna before I put it on though.

Good luck, hope it works. Have a good weekend, and let us know how it goes.

I tried my first day of staying in target, or below, about a month or so ago. First day was really hard, but it seems to have got easier, the more I try to do it.

I'm not sure why, it's probably partly working out tricks specifically aimed at keeping it in target, but I just have this weird feeling, as I said a few days ago, that the body starts to see it as normal, and by some process, that I don't understand, starts to assist, as well as it can, with no insulin, to stay in that range.

I’ve never, ever had a day all in target, but I set it at 3.8-7 - the closest I’ve had is 98% and was thwarted in hour 23!

My target is 5.6-7.8. so I don't try to stay within the lower figure. I do keep thinking about changing it, and making it lower, but I like the 3 buckets in the Time in Target section, they look prettier.

I'm not sure I could do a day without going above 7, that's quite hard, and I just ignore the below, it's only getting down the above that interests me, really.

98% is pretty good, though.

@becca59 bird fair? Fingers crossed for non allergenic Libre time.

The worlds biggest bird event at Rutland water. Known as the birders Glastonbury. My husband is involved in running a campaign group which helps people be aware of how to recognise wildlife crime. We have a stall. All good fun but tiring.
My claim to fame is One year I spent time dressed as a giant hen harrier having my photo taken with a variety of celebrities. Chris Packham, Mike Dilger, Simon King to name a few.
At the moment the Libre has me basically dead!
I’m pleased to say that is not the case.

I've never had 100% as far as it goes and my levels are between 4.1 - 8.1

I landed at the right time at the store to get a whole cooked chicken @ £3.00 reduced so had an 80g carbs pouch of Rana pasta with it and steamed veg once I'd picked the skin from it, I'm keeping a good eye on the Libre as the pasta may spike me, apart from that it's a lazy night with the guitar and some tunes I think.

Oh bleeding eck.....miscalculated tea. Fish and chips - home cooked. Now on 11.3 and slowly rising....correction dose and bang goes the 100% for 24 hours. Thought it was going too well grrrrr

Looks like your not getting the Blue Peter Badge and a Brown Paper Bag then?

No worries your doing WAY better then me today, I'll put mine down to "experimentation with aspidistra"

For all I check my libre and it is about 15/20 times a day I dont get too hung up if I am not in target. Sure its frustrating, like Knikki my screen can look like the Swiss Alps at times.

All I can do is put in the effort which I am finally doing and things have got better, not perfect but better

I have my ADAPT course follow up meeting on Tuesday, 3 hours worth with my group and the people who delivered the course, so this should be fun

Sleep well peeps tomorrow is another day of new challenges that we all deal with in our own way
