Think I may have just worked out why some of my overnights have been so high.

I recently discovered the joys of Pink Gin, thinking oh its Gin so no carbs, EH NO, each 25 ml serving is 10g of carbs and on a couple of occasions I may have had a couple of larger servings OOOPs.

And I have 2 bottles of the stuff still to drink, mmmm

Probably the greatest piece of music lasting for just over 2 minutes

There were a few bands like them, in the sense that they were uniquely "themselves", they weren't of a genre, but just doing what they wanted to do well enough that they were too interesting to be ignored. Like Brinsley Schwarz, Kilburn and High Roads, the Sutherland Brothers. Then there just wasn't room for them any more, as music as a fashion accessory seemed to take over.

when my bgs are high the weight falls off me and i dont want to lose any more it is a constant battle kev i never only lost fat i lost muscle too when diagnosed last year

i love the carpenters

Seen AC/DC and they were brilliant

There have been some great bands at Donnington and also its predecessor, Reading. The 1980's Reading line up was amazing. sadly never been to either. Only outdoor gig I have been at was Bruce Springsteen at Newcastle in 1984 on Born in USA tour

I've been to Donnington once, on a Vespa 1985 iIrc, bands, mud, racing and lots of alcohol, I'd have been T1 around 8 months and had my licence back a couple, a good rally

The high came down and settled but I missed a little hypo mid afternoon whilst filling the skip, but soon fixed, another tip run done in't dodgy car and I've the little un and her friend sleeping over, I've a mousaka for two for me in the oven so a late tea but I've had a busy day, missed the gym but didn't want to break off clearing my old shed out, my find of the day was a piece of metal in the shape of the hole of a sunroof that I cut out of a Viva van (small yellow BT van in the 70s) to put a sunroof I'd got from the scrapyard in.
I remember that as it wasn't a perfect fit aas my dad got soaked sat in the passenger seat when driving in the rain, but soon fixed with two bicycle inner tubes as a seal

Had a reasonable day today single figures all the way. Treated myself to fish supper tonight for tea, ooooops sitting at 12.2. Wee correction dose lets see how this goes.

Night night, my insulin challenged friends, sleep well and no hypos

Morning and wishing you all a Happy Sunday. 11.4 last night and hoped it would come down............. it did, to 4.7!
It's my granddaughter's birthday today and popping out to see her about 12pm, loaded with gifts ( but in a gift bag)
Ex will probably be there, but I won't let that spoil the day
