Morning folks, hope you all had a good night.

12.2 for me last night before bed, chucked in a correction dose, made sure I had no pink gin and woke up to a 3.9 around 5 am. A handful of jelly beans, probably too many, they are delish, and woke to a 8.5 about an hour ago

Morning all, less of a yo-yo today, flat line in the blue band overnight and 5.4 on waking
but even though I ate and injected as has proved effective in the past dropped to 3.4. Oh why does this T1 thing not behave like a well- programmed computer! (Answers on a postcard)

Not too bad.. I spent 16 years on the Euro circuit on the NWOBHM scene. & got to see some of the aforementioned bands (Sabbath, Saxon that sort of thing for gratis..)

I carry a set of Proguard ear defenders in a little fob on my car keys.. Which has helped. lol

Talking of which. @smc4761 , I had a couple of scoops of the pink gin last night after a session thrashing out metalled up Lady Gaga Christina Perri & Adele stuff.. (Don't ask? Twas a bit of a larf..) Basal @ 11.30, testing at a sassy 10.4mmol.
A good night's sleep after i finally got to bed,waking at 10am with a 7.
 
Oh ! @Fairygodmother, the term 'flatline' is fine but it does give me the willies sometimes when I read it, so just making absolutely sure you are OK?? ? level line, smooth line, minimally ripply line, still pond line, bubble in the middle line etc etc.
 
Perhaps the insulin pump alarms need argumentation for those rockers who were not as diligent as you ?
 

I know, I know, flat line, two words, ok? My libre screen’s small and I’ve not got any of the superdooper tech to transfer it to a bigger screen so it looked flat as a pre-Galileo world this morning. And yes, I’m still breathing, walking, talking, getting cross with politicians, hiding from the naughty world, being a nuisance et al.
 
And belly bum drawers, now the shocker’s leaped up to 9 - should’ve just waited, shouldn’t have eaten that poor little jelly baby. Serve me right if I grew a Bluebeard.
 
Morning y'all a waking 10.5 for me tho I had 1u about 4am as I was up at 14, my basal's tweaked for exercise and I've only been to the gym once this week so I guess I was pre-warned

Another day emptying the sheds and garage, downside is with the sun being out I can't have a little bonfire.

Morning all! The final glass of wine wasn’t as dry as I’d expected so I spent the night in double figures. No alarm because I’d turned the volume on my phone too low... corrected and am now in the low fours, so that went well. Not. Pottering around Marlborough today...
 
Good morning all. Woke to a 7.1 on the etch-a-sketch and BG was 7.1 so an accurate Libre (again). Got to get a pull switch for the bathroom light today....how hard can that be to fit lol
 
Afternoon all

Finally finally home! No more travelling... (for another 6 weeks at least).

Had a carb overload week (first slice of pizza and ‘bread’ in months).

Back to work tom which should get me back into routine.


p.s cheapest place to get Skin Tac wipes?

Just been asking my husband the very same thing. Why a raise between 12 and 4am last night requiring a correction? Had not had any insulin, food or drink after 2pm. Very similar to most days. Sometimes stay straight as a die on the Libre and sometimes have a hypo! There is no accounting for it. I eat pretty low carb and my meals are very consistent. My activity levels are also pretty consistent. This whole condition has a mind of its own. And let’s face it it often has little to do with what you eat.
Makes you want to go away and stuff your face with delicious carbs.
