Night night Karen and Happy Birthday - if only I’d know I’d have wished you at sparrows fart. Hope you had a great day! X

Ye old see-saw. Cannot trust the flour and whatever else in the sauces of Chinese cooking I guess. I understand the frustration of the high and the wish to hammer it down !! Enjoy the cereal !!

Oh my cat (twice).

I do love a wedding... massive (for me) 3.5u correction to try and bring that high down, have stabilised at 4.1 for now. Think I might need to back my pump off a little today, I may have a bit of alcohol to detoxify...

Hope you’re all well and have a lovely Sunday

@Mel dCP you been to a wedding? HMMM Give me food for though on mine

Yesterday was a bit of an up and down day, ended up with the most horrendous man flu, which knocked things about a bit.

Anyway went bed on mid green on the Etch A Sketch but switched all the alarms off, just wanted to sleep. Woke, before the sparrows started farting, because my bladder decided it wanted a walk, felt odd checked and a 12.2, which, while not happy about, was OK.

Shoved 4 units in and woke later at 5.1, so not bad, not bad.

As for the man flu, it appears to have naffed off, 24hour thing, it looks like, anyway fell OK

And good morning y'all up at 12 in the early hours (naughty lasagne for 2 for 1 ) so a unit and a half and woke at 8.0 at 9am, swimming at lunch with child and I don't yet know what we'll do this aft but I've some housework to do here following the trail of destruction caused by a messy 11 year old and I'll end up cleaning the childs rabbit out at some point.

The joys

Morning everyone, have a happy sunny Sunday! Glad you’re feeling better @Knikki, a wedding justifies a small blip @Mel dCP! and you’ll make the rabbit very happy @kev-w. I bet you’ll be fed up with all the cleaning up after others by the end of the day so have a good swim.
Cheerful day yesterday with a couple of good friends (him indoors went out for a long walk shortly after they arrived and the high volume chat began - one friend’s very deaf and the other’s blown her ears at youthtime gigs). Ate a lot (bedtime correction) but woke at 3.7 so feeling ****** off with the 0.5 unit cudgels.

12.3 but feel ok
Got on the scales this morning and gained 2 kg I’m still in ideal weight range but I’m trying to get closer the the lower end and not move upwards towards the higher end

Have a good day friends

Where’s RRB? Not seen her for a while

Didn't @Robinredbreast start a new job? hopefully the reason she's not been here is because the job is enjoyable, and interesting, and she's been too busy. Or something reasonably close to that, hopefully.

Alison - thanks, yes I do recall the new job that RRB had started now you’ve mentioned it.

Yes hope she’s liking what she’s doing

I have a meeting a week on Monday (17th) about my future at work HR and my boss will be present to discuss the way forward

Hi Alison, I'm back from work today and having a cuppa. Not too sure about the job, minimum wage, lots to fit in ( I was on my own for the first time today and couldn't do it all) also, the right side of my back has started being very painful again with the constant moving of merchandise and reaching up, it 's been getting worse over the years and I have had physio and acupuncture for it, but nothing is working so I went back to the Musculoskeletal clinic ( in the hospital) this week and I am booked in for an MRI scan in a couple of months.
My mood has been very up and down and so tired too, but trying hard to get back into sync. Thank you for asking

The first Sunday at home for a while and it's great. Slept late, ate late and the numbers are starting to revert to something less manic. Polish food is just toooooo

Great to see you, @Robinredbreast - was wondering how you were getting on. Hello @SueJB too, missed you around the forum

V quiet day here, popped out to do a spot of food shopping earlier, and cleared out the Lidl reduced section as usual. They’ve stareted reducing today’s expiring stuff to 20p or 70p, so we made the most of that. Piri Piri mackerel and roasted veg for dinner, just need to go back through my records and see what I dosed for mackerel last time I had it, and whether I got it right!

Edited to add - that was dead easy to find, as I log all my meals with descriptions in MySugr and I just searched for “mackerel” which brought up three entries, completes with the photos, dose and graphs for after the meal. No idea if that’s a premium feature or not. So it looks like I don’t dose for mackerel...

Second edit - on closer examination, it looks like the two other times I’ve had this stuff for an evening meal, I get a protein rise a couple of hours later, so I’m going to try an extended bolus at half the ratio I’d inject (still call it that, like referring to taping something off the telly...) for carbs, over 4 hours. Fingers crossed, been a bit low all day!

@Mel dCP I do that with the reduced aisle too! Home cooked Bhuna chicken for tea, little uns without chilli and mine got a spoon of my home made chilli pickle in, which is nice and hot, we swam this aft and spent a while plucking the rabbits fur as it's moulting heavily with the winter coat coming thru, bloods no higher than 9, no lower than 5 so a good day so far
Good to see you @Robinredbreast
