And perhaps the oats mash can be used as a glue, and for insulation, a poultice and much more !!But aye, tomorrow I'm going to post a pic of my bowl of porridge me thinks, the whole 300ml of it in factI really should start a thread in the diet section showing how carefully chosen complex carbs can work for a T1d, this is a kind of proof the old burn more calories than you consume to lose weight and vice versa rings true, a good time to do it too as I'm looking to gain a couple of kg right now so have upped carbs and insulin to allow this, I was mortified to find myself at 79kg at clinic, losing that extra kg hurt
Birthday Greetings, Novoslow on speed dial !!I’m a fan of both as long as it’s a thin crust put your own topping on pizza - Toms, oregano, anchovy, mushroom, sliced courgette, a smattering of parmesan; and proper unrefined big flake Scottish porridge!
Strained oats make for a good glue and oats eaten cold orientate one to the position of one's stomach. Oats do contain beta-glucans which apparently are good for you. Add salt to porridge and one's accent changes to Scottish. What is not to like ???Ew - no thanks.
If I wanted to eat something with the texture of wallpaper paste I'd eat wallpaper paste!
I think porridge is an acquired taste/texture that I have never acquired.
But I'd happily do the type 1 pizza eating initiation ritual (as long as I can eat a home made, thin crust, vegetarian pizza).

Ewww lol looks luverlyGood morning y'all, a waking 5.1 for me, porridge problems ahead as the microwave just went bang whilst warming my milk for my coffee, I'm not liking the look of the wind or the weather forecast either so I don't know my work plans yetbut at least it's Friday
Edit, porridge pot pic as promised
Quick question regarding which chemists sell Tegaderm patches? My local Boots is out of stock, I can go to the town one to see if they've got any but do say 'Lloyds' sell them or anywhere does anyone know?
I've a new sensor put on last night, no patch so thought I'd grab a couple just then whilst paying bills before swimmingno patch no swim so a cycle to town's maybe not a bad idea as exercise replacement but it's currently persisting down and I maybe don't need the exercise that much
