They are, but I don't mess around with halves, though I may have to give in, or I may not.
@Fairygodmother I'm only cleaning the once
Halves are great for fine tuning. I’ve had a half unit pen for novoslow for at least ten years now, maybe more. One of the good things about changing to Levemir was that it’s produced by Novo Nordisk and goes in the Echo half unit pen too. I have a blue one for the Levemir and the red one for Novoslow.
Argh! So you too have met the 12year old Xbox player as well?

Well, am half way through my fortnight long staycation, decided to jump on the train to see the new V&A gallery in Dundee about an hour away from me. Nice bit of architecture, the Charles Rennie Mackintosh room they've rebuilt from the bits and pieces they had in storage for decades is a work of art.
And right next door is RSS Discovery, custom built in Dundee in 1900 to explore Antarctica, went there, did that, and finally came home more than a century later. A beautiful restoration job, it was really strange looking at the historical pictures of it waaay down south, then walking around it's decks today thinking this big lump of beautiful wood has done all that.
