Beautiful day in Adelaide, a gloaming evening now settling in.
BSLs good all day and I am finally getting the hang of managing exercise on this lower carb diet.
Beginning: (Walking only, running sends the BSLs up too far) Leave basal as is, no carb loading beforehand as the adrenaline seems to send the BSL a bit anyway (but only gets to 7 mmol/l so far), bolus a tad if I have a coffee partway and be prepared to drop the basal 15% for 2 hours (starting at 5 hours after the middle part of the exercise period) and then drop basal 10% overnight. That's the current theory, ? how many variations to go ??
Kite parts all glued and glue nearly cured. Tomorrow is 'dress rehearsal' and final alterations before the Sunday arvo kite fly.
So many more designs on the drawing board. Promise you all a picture !!
Purchased a wok today. This will help with the vegetable cooking. Wok needs to be seasoned ? canola oil, ? lard. Not keen on peanut oil 'cos some people have severe allergies. Only catch is I purchased the wok, I do the cooking.
Well, there are worse fates in life !!

@Jaylee .
Surely your angle grinding skill set could prove useful for Libre removal.

Disclaimer. I’m not suggesting anyone uses an angle grinder for anything other than its intended use.

Good morning friends
Lunch out today
It’s Friday so it’s fish

Fish chips mushy peas at the ‘Boot and Shoe’ pub in Greystoke mmmmmmmmm can’t wait mmmmmmmmm

Lol, I have some "Sticky stuff remover" in the garage which is great for removing residue from 3M tape pads. When I removed non essential Jap gadgetry from my van like a NTC card reader for toll roads... & the little speaker stuck to the windscreen telling me in Japanese to insert a valid card, every time I started the vehicle..

I haven't used surgical spirit since my glass syringe days..
I'm all out of whiskey. But I do have vodka!

Um, vodka it is then. We have stuff here in Oz called 'Zoff'. looks pretty potent. Have not resorted to it yet !!

@kitedoc I didn't want to dis-rail ryann1990s thread, but was wondering if it was the 90's or the 00's that you missed?!!?!

Window guys turned up, I have a new handle and the window open's and closes and the other can open now as well
( something had dropped) but where the old handle was and the new one is slightly shorter, I can see a mark there, tried cleaning it off, but it wont budge, any idea's guys ?

WD40

Yes I saw it, but when I returned it had,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, disappeared/been removed.

The pork pie had a small amount of jelly. Was scrumptious! Only usually have one at Christmas, but lots going on at moment causing a bit of worry so decided a treat was in order. Although we have had 4 seasons in the last few hours here up North managed not to put my hat on @Robinredbreast
