So I am open to suggestion what to do with this thing
Anyone have any idea what to do with celeriac to hide the flavour?
My veg box arrived late today and they have made a mistake with my order - I requested fennel (for tomato, fennel and cod) unfortunately, there was no pretty fennel bulb but a big ugly celeriac instead.
Celeriac is on my "never ever ever ever deliver list" as it tastes of celery.Yuk.
So I am open to suggestion what to do with this thing. I am currently wondering if you can do celeriac printing like I used to do as a kid with potatoes.
Have to agree with you on the celery front. THE most awful taste known to man and or woman.Anyone have any idea what to do with celeriac to hide the flavour?

Same here with my etch-a-sketch... around 14 most of the day just down to 6.4 now. Put my cannula in the top of my leg Saturday night....thinking I am going to do a set change this evening back onto my belly...Evening all.
Well I think my graph today goes from Everest to the Marina Trench and yes I did crash the Etch A Sketch said LO but bloods said 3.0 so all in all not to bad.
Still flying butt monkeys really.
As for cleric, or what ever it is called didn't the show Allo Allo have a good idea what to do with it?
Cat carrier built, well, assembled, so good to go. Poor cat’s spent the day, and last night, sleeping so hoping he’s giving his immune system all the energy he’s got.
He had a Paris Hilton style tiny dog carrier to begin with, the kind that’s made for Manhattan, but it just wouldn’t be fair to squeeze him into that when he’s poorly-bad
Hi Helen, no to both. I think it might be just old age; it's an AccuCheck Mobile and I've had it for years. I've noticed that it quite frequently (maybe two or three times in a drum of 54 test strips) reports an error so it may be time to get on to them and ask for a replacement. And to be fair, its history includeds being dropped a couple of times, but last night's repeated errors were a new one.Morning pumpers and stabbers
My usual Monday exercise regime of spinning and climbing took its toll last night and woke me with a hypo. Grrr.
It seems my basal requirements seem to rise and fall but I haven't worked out what the frequency of the cycle. I do know I was on a high cycle last time I Libred (2 weeks ago) and on a low now. I don't think it is hormonal but that is difficult to confirm. I was thinking it was related to length of time the Fiasp is out of the fridge as previous highs had occurred when I was getting to the bottom of a vial. But I am near the bottom of a vial now and on a low. Looks as if I will have to keep better records for a few months.
As for being Libreless, this is quite common for me because 1. it is not accurate enough for me to dose from and 2. I don't want to become dependent on it whilst I have to fund it and 3. I want to reduce the risk of skin reaction to it. However, on the third point, my left arm feels as if it has a sensor attached - sort of slightly tight around the sensor area. There is no mark but I think it is something I need to keep an eye on and stick my next one (at the end of the month, for my Helsinki trip) to my right arm.
@hh1 when you were having trouble with your test strips, was your meter particularly cold (I had repeated errors when it had been in my bag whilst I was walking in the snow) or is the battery low (another reason mine has errorred).
Same here, a LOT of times total guess work and most of it was miles outMornin’ teabags.
I spent a couple of years just guessing, @hh1, back in the day, in fact back in a great many days ago, when I couldn’t get the tablets for the pee tests. Having to rely on physical symptoms made me much more attuned to them and I sometimes worry that they don’t seem so important these days. Wouldn’t be without the libre though, now I’ve got it, even if it does tend to increase the amount of time spent watching and worrying about what graphs are being drawn.
