My ratio is 1:10 although breakfast one needs adjusting and basal is 12 and a half units

I can think of a few stright off the bat
STRIGHT. meaning.
To perambulate through or around an area whilst veering to the starboard side at an angle NO greater than 12.73 degrees.
“ yes verger you can’t miss the church. it’s stright down there. “

A poet that didn't know it?! My vote is do something fun.

Woke to a low, 3.6 but it was a nice steady low.

Ah, I did know it rhymed - but I'm definitely no poet!

I ended up with a very mixed up kind of day which included an unintentional two hours nap, because I came back home with some shopping I didn't want to carry around all day, had lunch which meant I had enough carbs on board for a decent walk but didn't actually get back out fast enough, so fell in to a carb-induced sleep instead!

I did the walk once I'd woken up... well, it was either that or a large-ish correction dose! All's on a nice even keel pre-bed now.

Chin up @Knikki, Happens to us all at some stage. I no longer count them my self. And yep I swear at myself but it does not change the past. Nor does me writing out 100x" I must forget ...".
You could put them in a folder with all the hypo behavious and over time the less serious side of it and attitude towards these events takes over. The high was not a waste of a cake and the cake will come in handy to ward offa hypo later. Timing mishaps happen with cars, sewing machines and humans. We are not automated though and mistakes happen. Best Wishes !!

Hi all injectors and pumpers.
Monday's HBA1C 41 and that is with low carb diet for past 7 weeks, 3 months ago 47. Gold stars from DNE and endo.
Since 42 is the answer to the Universe, I am in uncharted waters!!
I was warned about a 2018 Lancet study where long-term low carb diet was associated with higher risk of cardio-vascular disease but Zoe Harcombe's rebuttal of that study demolishes that conclusion - so no worries !!
Mrs Kitedoc has been poorly and in hospital but expected home tomorrow, right as rain.
Wow, is the hospital food ever high carb!!
Tidying up the house .........

I think I have fallen out of bed more than the pump has ever gotten close. It fits in the pocket of my PJs shirt pocket with the shirt turned inside out so that the pocket is on the inner side.

Nice drop there in a short term, Kitedoc. You must be pleased with that - nothing too drastic.

I hope MrsKitedoc is back to for when she gets home.

Goodmorning everyone have a good day hypo central here this morning woke to a 2.7 took ages to get levels up left with a banging headache

Good morning Diabetnam!

Interesting day yesterday.. Macula edema scan came up clear. However, my pre arranged appointment had a second acompanying confirmation letter dropped through my door on Monday to also see the ophthalmology dept this comming Saturday?
I rang & questioned this on Tuesday. Was this in error? I can make either or dates. No... It's for my retinal yearly scan..!!
Just as well then. (I do happen to know they only set up "Saturday shop" when overwhelmed in the week?)

Why couldn't they have done both whilst the eye drops were working on the Wednesday appointment?!?
I'll be driving in on Saturday & my wife will drive back.. Same procedure different room, different machine. Same department..

Not worth questioning how they do things. I'm just thankful they do...

That could be a problem for me as I only go to bed wearing a smile and a splash of old spice. Bet you cant get that thought out of your head all day

Just a quick note to 'Good Morning all' before I get drawn into work things, it's been a crazy week and set to continue - fortunately BGs haven't added to my woes.
