GoodluckHi @karen8967 , my hospital only deals with Medtronic now so almost certainly the Medtronic Minimed 640g. Dont think the upgrade one is yet available the 670.
Had a look at a few Youtube videos for this one and most folks seem to like it. The advantages outweigh the disadvantages
My biggest concern is for bedtime. I am a very restless sleeper and bounce about all over the bed at night. Worried a little in case it falls off the bed or tube becomes disconnected.
I also take fairly high levels of insulin, ration of 1:4 for brekkie and 1:5 other meals. My Levemir is also fairly high 18 in morning 26 at night, so will be interesting to see if my dose increases/decreases
My ratio is 1:10 although breakfast one needs adjusting and basal is 12 and a half unitsHi @karen8967 , my hospital only deals with Medtronic now so almost certainly the Medtronic Minimed 640g. Dont think the upgrade one is yet available the 670.

STRIGHT. meaning.I can think of a few stright off the bat![]()
A poet that didn't know it?! My vote is do something fun.
Woke to a low, 3.6 but it was a nice steady low.
Chin up @Knikki, Happens to us all at some stage. I no longer count them my self. And yep I swear at myself but it does not change the past. Nor does me writing out 100x" I must forget ...".Morning all.
Who wants to see an "interesting" graph from a long termer who should know better
Started the day on a 10.9 hhmmmmm not sure why but fine inject, breakfast and out. Just about to go out and something did not feel right.
And Low and behold

Yep guess which, smeg head, twonk, numpty, idiot, foolish idiot, pillock, and all other expletives forgot to inject before eating?and I have a headache which no doubt it caused by said high flying. ~sigh~
Now I'm annoyed with myself for such a school boy error, but goes to show that even seasoned professionals sometimes slip up.
Yes I know by to look of things I will hypo later, that's fine it what I want as I can manage it much more easily from that point. BUT that's just me.
I think I have fallen out of bed more than the pump has ever gotten close. It fits in the pocket of my PJs shirt pocket with the shirt turned inside out so that the pocket is on the inner side.I too was worried about this.
I was told to just let it do it’s thing and you’ll be fine. My pump never disconnected and never fell ff the bed. However, it always found its way underneath my bony hip. Ouch.
So I now use a pump belt wrapped twice around my upper leg. The pump remains under control. And I forget about it and sleep well.
I find the pump belt works with various bed time attire.
Hi all injectors and pumpers.
Monday's HBA1C 41 and that is with low carb diet for past 7 weeks, 3 months ago 47. Gold stars from DNE and endo.
Since 42 is the answer to the Universe, I am in uncharted waters!!
I was warned about a 2018 Lancet study where long-term low carb diet was associated with higher risk of cardio-vascular disease but Zoe Harcombe's rebuttal of that study demolishes that conclusion - so no worries !!
Mrs Kitedoc has been poorly and in hospital but expected home tomorrow, right as rain.
Wow, is the hospital food ever high carb!!
Tidying up the house .........
Thank you @helensaramay, I shall accept the dubious honour !!That only works if you wear a pj shirt.

However, you have fallen out of bed more times than I.

Snap minus the old spiceThat could be a problem for me as I only go to bed wearing a smile and a splash of old spice. Bet you cant get that thought out of your head all day![]()
