@Robinredbreast . Hope you start feeling better soon. Hopefully one problem kinda resolved and I’m hopeful other problems will get sorted somehow today. Certain the solution is out there, it’s just a case of finding the right person who can press the right buttons

The greatest gift type 1 gives is resilience. Team Type1 ( not a closed club ) is a formidable team.
 
Morning all! I’ve not opened the curtains yet but it looks quite bright out there.

Almost but not quite had a unicorn 24h, one reading at 7 and one at 3.8 (my thresholds) ruined it. I might delete those two from the record and pretend

So glad to see the thread back, when I wasn’t there I realise just how much I rely on you guys to keep me diabetically relatively sane.

I dont recall the thread going off topic and belittling others. My "profanity" was another name for your bottom so hardly abusive.

One thing about this thread yes we do go off topic sometimes but that is the joy of this thread. We can talk about chocolate, microwaving jelly babies,F1, terrible purple cars, concerts, dogs,. It keeps us all sane and offers light relief to what is a chronic condition. Thanks for keeping this thread alive and to all the wonderful knowledgeable people on here

I don't know either. And I'm not sure about the new avatar - looks laid back enough to be you but a tad too mean

8.4 this morning, whether that was the large bowl of special egg fried rice last night or the early morning get up and then back to bed today who knows but I can certainly live with that.

Bright sunny but a cold wind here, jobs to do inside and out, outside can wait!

I'm just back after a long pause (literally months!) where I shoved my diabetes to the back of my mind and just pushed in whatever insulin I thought might be enough for whatever I wanted to eat. Didn't bother recording

Dunno what changed but I sort of shook myself, woke up and started recording and calculating again.

5.2 when I got up and pleased to be back on track
