Morning all.

A huge hug to @Robinredbreast - don't know what to say except ditch your current insulins and start over. There's no denying that bad batches happen. Whack in some from the new pack and maybe drink a lot of water, have a hot bath (drops my sugars), and start testing for ketones. Just in case.

And like @Knikki says - totally not your fault!

Is there a filthy bug knocking on your door?

Big hugs robs hope you feel better soon x

Haha only just ive been up for over an hour left me phone upstairs and couldnt be bothered going back up and getting it

Good morning everyone have a great weekend going to see the ninjas later bit of shopping and not much else

Got to nip to Asda before it fills up with people.

Hope things improve @Robinredbreast

@Robinredbreast Ouch! You have my sympathy, I've been in the 20's more times than I care to admit. Hope you get it sorted out pronto. I'm sure you know it, but don't forget high BG causes further insulin resistance, so correction factors need adjusting at those dizzy heights.

@Knikki Maybe it was the three-day-old pants causing your woes all along?

My Morrisons crunchy peanut butter and Marmite jars sit next to each other in the cupboard... Never thought about 'crossing the streams' before, though...

RRB, don’t be embarrassed! We’ve all done it, it happens, it’s all part of T1 life. But I do understand your distress xxx Big hugs to you

Yippee!! My new silver neckchain arrived. I am highly allergic to the nickel they sometimes cut sterling silver with as part of the alloy used. When it's there, I get severe eczema all round my neck. This one is guaranteed cut with copper and no nickel at all.

Now I can wear my little pendant

No cake, but my readings had been higher the day before, so....................all Insulin's taken, could of miscalculated but that reading was exceptionally high don't think I am coming down with anything nasty either, as I feel okay, only this morning felt sick and lethargic.
Thanks for your reply, diabetes is a complete PITA

Clean knickers, as @Knikki said, it's PITA, feeling better now thanks Helen x

Thanks Colin, sometimes I feel I can't do right for doing wrong ( whatever the reason). but feeling okay now.

Hi the only bug about today was awasp in the bathroom and a beautiful ladybird outside, feeling better now thanks x

Robin, with your recent health challenges, have you done the ketones thing? I know you are extremely experienced, but I know if something totally left field happens to me, I can lose my instincts to the the right thing.

No, I haven't anything to test ketones ( I will ask my GP) but I am feeling better now and thank you for your friendly reply

Robs
