Meant to say - the coffee this morning is perfect. Fresh made, very strong, black no sweetener - just oodles of fresh coffee flavour. Is there a drooling emoji?
Good morning friends Romans’ countrymen
Bright sunny but blistering - nope
Have a good day
Back then, so many of the female actor's screamed a lot when scared and become hysterical, nowadays they can kick a*s, but I did like that remake.
Invasion of the Body snatcher's, is another oldie, but one of my favourites is The day the Earth stood still, loved Michael Rennie as Klaatu, for 1951 this is a cracking golden oldie
Sooo, husband may (or may not) be about to lose his job. We should know more in a week or two. Wondering if he becomes house-husband I can train him to mow lawns, fill and empty dishwasher, manage washing and do child’s hair for school?
? Tepid tea using the water from the hot water tap ??Morning all.
The view through my round window is sunny but the tea is lacking. There may have been some with breakfast but I bought myself some yoghurt (and spoons) so I could work in my room and there is no kettle in my room.
Ho Hum. As Gloria said "I will survive".
Better get my butt in gear, check out and start my log day: I should land in Heathrow at 22:50 this evening.

In theory the hot water tank boils and so should kill bugs in the water but who knows for sure ??Bleurgh, and who knows what’s already been brewing in the pipes.
Im the same regarding washing up after meal japes i look at it once dishes are out the way you can relaxMorning all!
Today's Big Clean task is the kitchen... the food cupboards are all clean and sorted, and I'm just sitting down before deciding what the next bit is. The oven can definitely wait until the next Big Clean - it got done not so long ago after a big cooking session which got a bit messy and I'm not going to do another big cooking session until I've defrosted the freezer. Once the cupboards are done, the rest is never as slow as I think it's going to be, because I do keep the kitchen pretty clear and clean (years of cooking for a lot of people means I've got a routine for it well sorted and seems to happen automatically... um, friends have been known to complain about my seeming inability to sit down after a main meal until the washing up is done.)
Actually, the next bit is a biscuit - lots of up and down the stepladder uses up the blood sugars at a rapid rate for me!
Hi @Mel dCP,Morning all, happy Tuesday!
I love the original Day the Earth Stood Still, that and Forbidden Planet are two of my favourite films.
Bloods finally back in range last night, and smooth overnight. Dropping into the 3s now, so clearly need to tweak my basal rate. Foot on the floor expected to kick in imminently, and as I’m not going anywhere I’ll let it correct itself! Planning some sewing today
In Oz we would light a fire outside and use a tin can or similar to boil the water !!No Brit would suggest such a thing!
