What, like Theresa May you mean???????@Robinredbreast - sorry to hear this. You may have missed the wedding but are here to see the marriage, which is more important.
And a boring mod type reminder to all that you can report PMs if they are dodgy.
I think many people have reported her...What, like Theresa May you mean???????
Hello guys Sorry I haven't been about but I has a severe hypo late Monday night 25th June. My daughter found me and I vomited.
But Warning Alert
some vomit went into my lungs and I contracted a critical pnuemonia and went into ICU and now I am on HDU. My family were told to expect the worse. I know absolutely nothing of that day plus I missed my daughters wedding on .the 30th
<rant>
Just had a really abusive PM from a T1 in response to a comment I’d made on the story about the lass who’d won damages for having her lucozade taken from her at a gig. Bloke had said that he’s never ever had a hypo in 24 years at a concert so she was being ridiculous and I mildly (I always START mildly lol) that just because that’s his experience doesn’t mean it’s true for everyone. Mentioned that I’d once dropped from a steady six to the threes with no IOB at a gig in minutes and the abuse started - apparently I’m an embarrassment to diabetics everywhere, give T1s a bad name, have terrible management, and “are you hypo, hun?” HUN????Anyone want to see the BG spike from that?

But teenage Ozzy has decided that he’s embracing the English half of his heritage and wants to support them. Jay and I, being Welsh, support Wales and anyone who’s playing Englandit’s the law here!
Morning my pancreatically challenged friends!
@Robinredbreast - hope you’re feeling better today xxx
My menfolk have all of a sudden decided they want to watch the football this afternoon, absolutely no idea why. None of us like football, this is a rugby household. But teenage Ozzy has decided that he’s embracing the English half of his heritage and wants to support them. Jay and I, being Welsh, support Wales and anyone who’s playing Englandit’s the law here! Anyone got a low carb, vegetarian Swedish meatball recipe? Anyway, I shall do some patchwork while they’re shouting at the telly. I’ve got a “subscription” quilt to do - I pay a monthly sub and they send me the precut fabric for a block. After a year I’ll have a double quilt for my bed
Looks like I was running in the 7s and 8s overnight, some aggressive corrections needed again, pretty much doubling my usual doses. Down to the 6s now but getting extremely bored with this resistance just now. The heat doesn’t help. Ah well.
Quite sad Portugal and Brazil are out, we were going to nominally root for them. Husband is slightly Portuguese, his ancestor was a Portuguese doctor who came over a couple of hundred years ago and set up a practice in Cornwall. Prior to that he was the personal physician to the King of Portugal when he was exiled in Brazil. He likes to concentrate on that aspect of his ancestry and ignore the British peasantry (except for a Mayor of Plymouth who had previously been a ship’s surgeon during the battle of Trafalgar and a pirate. But that’s another story). Basically he’s homeopathically Portuguese, which makes him more Portuguese than Ronaldo scoffing a crate of pastel de nata if you follow the principles of homeopathy!Lol, oddly. I have a "Sweden rock" festival baseball cap I picked up on tour a few years back?
I've been advised not to wear it today.

That is a hypo avoidance tactic... Not a good hypo avoidance tactic, but a tactic nonetheless!Did he ever say he kept it at the levels of a person without diabetes?
My suspicious mind suspects he avoids hypos by keeping his BG at 10 all the time.
Or am I just being bitchy?
Ah, “romance”, eh? That old chestnut! Now that's another story... I had 2 quid on Portigal..
My ancestory is Italian. Great grandfather was a musician & conductor gigging in the Pump rooms in Bath..?
He wrote music which I have on sheet notation (manuscript.) paper..
Great gran? Was a local girl... There is this whole "romantic story" regarding thier relationship?
Truth is, they didn't marry. He disappeared & left her with 3 kids.. Classic tale of "Rock & Roll."
