I am very short-sighted with astigmatisms, and I get night blindness in my left eye. I retire in 3 yrs and 8 months (not that I'm counting or anything).  Roll on the day.  I checked my future pension and because I've already paid in 46 full years of contributions I can't get any more on my pension but on the other hand I have to keep working and contributing.
