They did a nerve block so I don't hurt at all...yet. As soon as I feel any pain I'm supposed to take a pill because that means the block is wearing off. That's anywhere from 1-5 days. From the elbow down I absolutely have no feeling or control. My arm just flops around. So I have a sling to keep it in, but when sleeping I'm supposed to have it propped in the air. So I had it propped against a pillow and by body. But it would fall sometimes, maybe I tried to move it? It's in a "soft" cast with a fiberglass splint and twice I bopped myself in the face in the middle of the night and this morning I bopped my dog really well. But I'm doing pretty good. The plate is out and the bony protrusion has been flattened! They think it was the bony protrusion that is supposed to be the most likely candidate, but I got the impression after surgery she wasn't so sure the problem was solved, in two weeks I'll know more. It'll probably be a wait and see. Not that I would voluntary have surgery to just have the plate taken out, but I'm kind of happy it's gone.</p></blockquote><p></p>
