Please don't feel guilty for needing them. Have you tried to figure out why things go to pot every time you are sick? Talked this through with your diabetes nurse or endo? Who knows, it may be possible to avoid DKA if your insulin can be adjusted for illness in a way that suits your diabetes.A while back you were very optimistic with your pump.
