I recommend the online self-testing.
I did them a few months ago, and was shocked to discover that i fitted squarely into the depressed bracket. Sometimes things feel normal, but REALLY aren't.
They are not, of course, a diagnosis, but they are thought provoking, and without doing them i would have just muddled along under that familiar grey cloud.
Luckily for me, working on the combination of triggers (work stress, short term home stress, Vit D deficiency, and taking less care of myself, my 'me time', and my meditation) have effected some improvement. But i am thinking that the biggest factor was Vit D.
