Type 2 and insulin

hi I have been type two for 4 years and medication has never done much for me ,
Yesterday I started on insulin up to now I have seen no difference to my blood sugars
Does it take time to work ?

Hi I am on 8 units twice a day of Humulin

Have you made adjustments to your diet as well? Medication can only do so much, especially oral medication.
