Type 2 diabetic Antibiotics

Hi I have just finished a weeks course of two different antibiotics. I had an endoscope at the hospital and the doctor told me I had Helicobacter Pylori which is a bacterial infection in my stomach. Before the diagnoses I spent most of the time vomiting or on toilet. I also had the same the week taking the antibiotics. You can imagine it has played havoc with my sugar levels. I need to put on weight but not sure if I should start eating more carbs. Has anyone else gone through the same thing.
