Type 2 Life

@mo53 - Too much rich living and drinking!!! = only joking Mo. Now, my father-in-law suffers with it and he is having a bout at the moment. He got a food list to avoid eating of the GP and at the moment he and M-in-law have turned veggie.

I think it is gout. My wrist, knuckles and fingers are swollen on my right hand. Very painful.
Ouch! You have all my sympathy, my late dad used to suffer from gout in his foot. When he had a flare up he wasn't able to drive which was unfortunate cos he was the only driver in the family! I hope it gets better soon xx

@mo53 - There is a tablet that can be taken for Gout available from GP (my D-in-law takes it) Is your diet high in purines?

@liam1955 no I don't think so. I've tried to pinpoint triggers but haven't been able to . I've taken a prescribed antinflamatory.
Our gardening was fun.

@mo53 - I know the pain can be unbearable - it helps to abstain from red meat etc. Fish, Chicken is good. - End of, I won't go on anymore about it

Morning, FBG 5.5 mmol/l. It's my birthday today and I'm off to hammer another nail in my coffin lol. A cream cake as a treat ? Yes methinks, it's only once a year.

But you're just a bairn! ( I did work it out from your avatar) Eddie I was just giving you a minus10 yr bonus- have a great day my friend x

@loulou99782 @Alisonjane10 @hankjam. Are you all OK we miss you on the forum
@13lizanne that's the downside of the internet and forums, people disappear for unknown reasons be it personal, illness, fed up posting and even mundane stuff like broken routers. I'm sure those involved come back soon. People who I have got on with well over the years usually have a back door for contact be it by email, text or telephone and they can relay messages back to members in times when they are absent. I have email addresses for a few members now - takes times and trust.

Yay! Happy birthday young man Enjoy your cream cake

@13lizanne - Anna have a lovely day with your Hubby. xx. And to @mo53 - think I would go for the Swimming. My plans have changed now. Was supposed to be going to the Shopping Centre (Monks Cross) - not grocery shopping though. So, it looks like I am doing finances/banking etc today and not tomorrow. When it's my birthday Anna you CAN knock 10 years off mine by all means. - I was going to anyway!!!!
