You can make a nice chocolate pud with Chua seedsHad my Bloods done today for my next Diabetic Review at the Hospital on 11th May. And also had another repeated Liver Function Blood Test done (Will find out the results next week when I see my GP) Had the Cosentyx Injections today and they are now monthly.
We went food shopping and bought some Chai Seeds to try - sprinkled a couple of tablespoons in the potato salad for dinner to try.
Hi @Alzebra - Thank You for your lovely comment, good to see you on the Forum and hope you are keeping well.
Time for my crackerwheats and cheese supper now.
I've had some strange things for breakfast but never cauli cheeseGood day so far - woke up to 5.0, now after swimming 1.2 km I'm at 5.7 which makes me happy. In my new frugal 'we must eat everything' state I'm having leftover cauli cheese for breakfast It might be LCHF but not sure it works for breakfast for me,
Hope today goes well @ickihun at your appointment, think of you
Hi @Alzebra sorry to read about your interview, hope something comes along so you can escape your current one. It's really an awful place to be, not happy at work I find very difficult to cope with, just go into my shell, fortunately it has not happened too many times but once is enough. Good luck.Hello all, sorry been a bit absent of late, I had an interview for a new job last week and didn't get it so lots of effort to prep followed by a couple of days of feeling sorry for myselfCurrent job is horrible due to threats of compulsory redundancies and bullying by management so I'm very keen to move on asap!
My fitbit is doing its job in motivating me to up the exercise a bit more, @hankjam I do find it difficult to sync with the laptop but it 'talks' to my phone no bother. Fasting blood sugars have dipped below 5 again since upping the exercise but my weightloss has stalled (think I'm toning up nicely though).
Still lurking around, sorry if I've missed anything important. William, I'm loving the new avatar, so lovely to see your smiley face

Good work with the BG's, that must make things a bit better when they come back good.
Phones: wondering if I should help Apple out of their pit of despair... though if I did get a smartie it would probably be a SamSung... but I must be one of the odd ones and only use my mobile as a phone!!!
Easiest ever! Can't post it just now so if I forget remind me on here or pm me@Sable_Jan - Hi. Have you got the recipe for Chocolate Pud with Chai Seeds, and is it easy to make?
Well done you for finding that. I'd forgotten all about it. Since then I've changed to Total Sweet as after a while I started to get a bitter aftertaste with the Sucron....http://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/threads/i-dont-want-to-eat.75452/page-5#post-851461
Hope this works, I use it a lot and it works for me
EDIT to say I see recipes have already been linkedEasiest ever! Can't post it just now so if I forget remind me on here or pm me
No probs. It's nice hot as it comes and if you set the rest in small dishes in the fridge it's gorgeous with extra thick squirty cream on top. No added sugar like the Low fat version (Anchor is what I use)Thanks for the link @hankjam - going to try Brunnerias Chai Seed Pudding today and will let you know the outcome @Sable_Jan - Thanks
Sooooo many possible reasons. From flu to fibromyalgia and yes, I do believe from others who have been doing LCHF that they experience flu like symptoms if they have a carb binge (or when drastically dropping carbs for the first week or so). Hope you're soon feeling betterMy Fasting BG was 7.5 this morning.
I was at the GPs this morning, he wants Bloods done so have a bloods appointment at 12 noon.
I haven't been sleeping and I am abnormally tired. I don't feel right at all. I ache with tiredness. This feels like flu but isn't flu.
Is it possible that the carbs I had on the weekend would have done this to me? I don't think so, but what do I know?
It's good you've got an appointment for bloods so quickly. Hope they help you know what is going on. Tiredness is really awful, feel for you. HjMy Fasting BG was 7.5 this morning.
