I'll come down have my women's problems this week and Ron will tell you what I'm like with that .lol

@maureen5752, I had some problems with an ex neighbour a while ago and I know how aggravating it is when you want nothing to do with them but they just won't leave you alone. Hopefully it will get sorted out soon, and in the meantime have a massive hug from us all

tell me about William told my local garage today what I needed at about 3pm and ten minutes later he comes knocking on my door saying he has found one not even kwick fit are that quick

That sounds even better @tina_marie - YOU in front then, followed by Vicky and I will stand right at the back.

Off to start meal now, chat later everybody.

I've still got that problem had it since 1996! A woman alone is difficult especially when neighbours like booze

Well I have finally decided to sit out on the garden down at the bottom where it is shaded from the brilliant yellow sphere in the sky

So I'm getting to watch the goings on with the birds whilst slobbing around in the pleasant temperature not directly burning in the sun
And I have got a pint glass of orange squash (no sugar) with half a dozen ice cubes and I feel thoroughly relaxed sitting here with the birds for company and glancing over the goldfish in the pond

Earlier I had an hours walk around the village (felt more like an hours talk) as I was nattering away to a few folk en route bought myself an ice lolly at the post office

Tested my sugars about half an hour ago and I'm pleased to say that I have had my best reading on over a week at 11.7

It feels like the fuzzy head I have endured is giving me some relief

Right now I'm in my own little world and quite content

Dazzy - big up to you!! Eldergarth, info hope you can get to grips with the pain control.

Ahhh, Maureen - we miss you! How can we get this sorted out?
@noblehead, @andcol, @catherinecherub, @AndBreathe, @anna29, @azure - any ideas?

Hello everyone, sorry I haven't been on here for a few days. Work has been manic. I'll try to catch up with the threads.

I have taken a days annual leave tomorrow in order to do a Desmond course. I haven't got high expectations. I will be very cross if I find myself stuck in a room being told to eat brown bread. Especially if it's a gorgeous day like today when i could be outside. @eldergarth, didn't you do a Desmond course recently which you you said was awful? We can compare notes after tomorrow

I am now going to get out of my work clothes and catch some sun in the garden.

Do you have any idea which painkiller your Mum was given for her arthritis, Vicki?

I've still got that problem had it since 1996! A woman alone is difficult especially when neighbours like booze
I would definitely agree with that, I'm also a woman alone (and my son has special needs) and in the 20 years we've lived here we've had 6 alcoholic neighbours and even a drug dealer used to live directly upstairs! I suppose that's the joy of living on an ex council estate :/

Hope you have a better time on your Desmond course than we did.

I suppose the good news is that if it's arthritis in Ron's hip, then it can be treated... But I totally agree with what others have said - the quicker a diagnosis is available, the quicker things can be sorted out. Hugs x
