Type 2 Life

@ickihun - Vicky, in case I forget 'Good Luck' for Wednesday and I hope it is productive? Let us know how you get on . If I give you my phone number for the Surgery - will you hound them for me?
Anytime William. ♡♥♡
Any relief from the pain?

Evening hope everyone's ok. @liam1955 X-ray dept are not allowed to give results, they have to send X-ray report to doctor, hope you feel better soon & every think works out ok & not serious

I think at this rate were going to end up with a season ticket at the hospital.
It definitely can feel like that sometimes. I threaten to leave my sleeping bag at gps. Ha ha
Luckily hoping to get blood test and gp appointment and amendment to repeat prescription, all in one scoop. Oh and son's doctors appointment too. Oh and a letter to pay for. We are definitely on frst name terms now.
Meeting female doctor this week.
Its all fun and games.
I too wish i never had to have any dealings with doctors but with this disease, we're out of luck. It changes too much through the years.
I hope everytime i see consultant there is a new drug approved that can help my insulin resistance and I'll no longer need the extra insulin injected. Victoza was once new, now canagliflozin.
Im going to ask to try metformin again because i once had great longterm bgs on it. But that's not until my 27th june appointment.
Wednesday is to see gp about hormones. Poor locum.

Good luck for Wednesday Vicky!
Hugs x

I enjoyed some of my oppo ice cream today. More ordered. Yummy! Its the first sweet item I've enjoyed for months. My diet is bland being just savoury.
That almond flour has cakes and tarts written all over it. Reduced sugar jam needs testing out, next.

I've told Ron that if he ever has to stay in hospital I'm coming in with him. So they better have a double bed with memory foam mattress ready or I'm bringing ours. He thinks I'm joking.

Out of interest - and I know they don't stock it - but if you type Oppo into the search box for Tesco groceries online, the suggestion they come up with is doggy poo bags!!!
Oh yes, very handy Tesco, thanks.

I had fantastic bgs on it but once thrush came, it was aggressive. It took me a few months before it started affecting me.
It must work for some people. I'm glad its you.

I shall keep a careful eye out for the thrush....or rather I will KNOW when it strikes. I get it when my BS is higher than it should be. What dose were you on?

P

Morning all, it's a grey drizzly day today but I'm in a good mood - we've finally unearthed my granny's antique Singer sewing machine at my mum's house and I'm bringing it back with me tonight. Mum says she can't use it so I can have it. There's a Singer service centre in town so I'm going to see if they can give it a tune up. It hasn't been used since granny went blind in the 60s!

Is it an electric one Barbara?
