My blood glucose reading after pouring a can of spaghetti in tomato sauce into a small green plastic bowl at 2:55 Post Meridian British Summer Time is 7.4 Millimoles Per Litre. I realise it could have been a better choice of food knowing I'm sensitive to the consumption of complex carbohydrates but it's about all I have available to eat apart from pasta, rice, high in glucose and sodium ready meals, containing complex carbohydrates, and I felt a bit hungry. I think frozen peas and frozen broad beans, steamed, will be a better option. On Tuesday, when my Home Care worker collects my £70.00 Personal Allowance and takes me shopping for groceries I ought to only buy food not rich in complex carbohydrates. I'm going to research these foods on the Sainsbury's website because Sainsbury's is where my Home Care worker takes me shopping for groceries on Tuesdays. I feel so cross with myself. Even my elderly Dad is more capable of sticking to a sensible diet plan than I am. I admire him for that.
