Type 2 Meet Up In York.

Hi Folks :).
Just to update the Thread.
There is another visit in the "pipeline" for a meet-up in York, sometime in July. I will update as and when I have the details from another member - who is doing the organising this time.
 
@grante - I know you ,mentioned on another thread that you would like to meet up with others. I appreciate this isn't Sheffield, and a bit of a step out, but it could be of interest to you.

I have met various people from the forum, at various times at conferences or meetings (including @JohnEGreen who posted just up there ^^^^). I can honestly say I have found each of those meetings to be uplifting and fun.

@Liam1955 thank you for thinking of me. As we are caring for grandchildren this summer and going away for a while I'm not sure if I will make it. But thank you for thinking of me. I'll know definetly nearer the date.
 
To update.
There are 4 persons for definite and 3 possible's (plus additional 2 spouses).
York Railway Station is the Meet Up point for 12 Noon.

Any chance of a future meet up on a weekend for those of us still in work? Love York and would enjoy meeting some fellow forumites.
 
Hi @Goonergal :).

This next meet up on the 11th August = I know that @Granny_grump_ is staying overnight till the 12th (Saturday) and I believe a few other members will be staying overnight.
 
Just to update :).

1 week today = Friday, 11th August - Type 2 Meet Up.
Those who are definitely comming are meeting at York Station.

Hi John,
I am meeting Granny_grump_ (Kathleen & Hubby) their train arrives at 12.06.
(York Station is less than 10 minutes by car from where I live).
They are booked in at the Travel Lodge for overnight stay.

Just seen your meet up post it should be a good day,looking forward to meeting everyone especially you and Richard.
Have a great day it's sunshining for once here at the moment,I'm off out for lunch with my grand daughter soon,wait till Florence is taking both of you out. Bet your still shattered after Thursday, will speak later. Kathxx
