Hi Ron - Yes, that Park and Ride is done/completed on the A59. And another one has been done/completed just off the A64 bypass from Leeds to York. Which is the one I explained to Kathleen this morning near Tesco.
You will have to tell me where you are travelling from?

@Granny_grump_ - Hi K, That is good news that your Sister is coming too. Get them tickets booked, but look to see if anything even cheaper if booked in advance of 14 days travel?
Tina and Ron are arriving around 9am'ish and doing a spot of Sightseeing I believe? Vicky is arriving around 9am'ish - but, she is going to check for definate. I can get to York Station for 9.30am and meet up with Vicky and no doubt meet up with Ron and Tina = Just ask for directions to Railway Station.
Or nearer the time I will give everyone of you my Mobile Phone number,and I can meet and greet you all as you arrive.
No matter where we are, and if someone's Train arrives in at say Noon, I will leave the group where they are and make my way to the Railway station to meet you.
Make sure you all have a good Breakfast and then we could go for lunch around 1pm = this allows for everyone to arrive in York.
@asparagusp - Hi S, if you can get a £15 train ticket that is brilliant!!! Is that a Single fare?
I have been in touch/contact with Barbara - @Diamum5972 and unfortunately can not make it. Also been in touch with @mo53 and she us getting back to me.
What about @callyandy - you live in Grimsby? Do you fancy meeting up with us All in York on Tuesday, 28th March for a mostly Type 2 Gathering and a one Type 1 (so far) "Invasion of the City of York"
If any of you can get a good bargain deal on the Train = go for it and book it. I am sure if you book a seat more than 14 days in advance it is much cheaper.
When we get together we can decide what we want to do?
Anybody want any more information? Just ask.
I am taking notes, details etc of times of arrivals.

Hi S, Theres a few of us who are not 100% Mobile, so if they are quite happy to sit and chatter whilst others go off Shopping or do whatever. If it is a glorious Sunny Day there is some beautiful gardens within the city .
Just a thought if it is nice sunny day? Get a take out hot drink, buy some sarnies or something simular and have a picnic maybe? Don't forget to bring cameras and we can post pictures of our day together.
