I know we post our morning bloods on another feed but what's everyone's goal?

My personal goal is to see my morning bloods below 5.5 constantly.

What's your goal ?

Anywhere in the 5s I'm happy with, though the lower the better obviously! 5.5mmol/l today

Probably the same for me. Mine are in the 6s at the moment. They were in the 7s three weeks ago so that's progress.

Are we talking FBG? I have stopped taking it as it seems there is little I can do to change it. I suffer sleep disturbance and this can often make my bg vary wildly.

I like it to be in the 4s, but it rarely is so I'm happy with anything in the 5s. (not so happy today as it was 7.1)

I'm happy with anything less than 6 right now; it's a nice indication that I did well the previous day

I'm generally more concerned with post-meal spikes at the moment though, as I'm still learning what my diabetes can live with and what makes it throw a tantrum...

I might have had a good reading first thing today as I don't remember waking in the night, but as my husband sometimes disturbs me several times a night there is little point in bothering to test.
