Wet weather (don't want to walk then). Sprouts and cabbage! Not being able to eat some things I used to enjoy.
Diagnosed in February with BG 6.5. After some changes, i.e. diet and exercise, GP reported my diabetes was under control, so am pleased. Next check with GP is November but my own testings before breakfast average 5.3 - 5.6 so I am encouraged by that. What is disappointing is when a walk is planned and it then rains! Weight is coming off very slowly but then it took a long time to go on. Any exercise suggestions please?

There are some great walking videos on youtube. I use these when it's not practical to go outside. Search for Leslie Sansome. Good luck!

Hello and welcome!

Well done on your achievements. I always say there is no such thing as bad weather, just unsuitable clothing!

Hi and welcome. Those figures look very good. Do test 2 hours after a meal if possible to see how you handle meals. If the weight is coming off you are doing the right things. The lower the carbs the faster the weight loss in general but you are going the right way. Exercise always helps a bit. I go to the gym and do a range of things. Pushing the heart rate up always helps.
