You guys are so nice making me feel right at home Thank you :):)
Yes I was taking it but found that my blood sugars were still fluctuating above 100's so I had this bright idea to not eat anything until my blood glucose comes down below 100 mg/dl without meds. That was approx. one week ago so far it's been working. The reason I listed Metformin is because no matter what I have to remember that I'm still a diabetic and if for some reason I stray from my diet I will need the meds I think. So does that sound like a reasonable thing to do? Oh I also have Diaban on stanby as well.

Hello there, you've not eaten ANYTHING for a week?
 
No not an entire week just fasting every 24 hours then having my one meal around 8:00 pm keeps my blood glucose down below 100 mg/dl or close not over 110 so far.

Great that it is working out for you. Just curious, why not eat during the day instead?
