Hello folks, never posted on a forum before, so please excuse me if I don’t get this right, lol.
I have type 2 and I take metformin daily. I have noticed recently I’ve had a few days where I’ve struggled to stay awake during the day.
I have just taken my blood glucose test and it’s saying it’s 15 on my machine. I understand this is high. What I would like to know is how to reverse this? normally I just ride it out but there’s gotta be an easier way. Any help will be appreciated
Hi @clomy Madit & welcome to the forumhey Folks, Hope we're all doing well
i am gonna shot straight to the point. So i am also struggling to stay awake during working hours and my glucose is also at 15. any advices?
100% This, I missed appointments, a works Christmas party and generally fell to sleep at the drop of a hat. Thought it was just because I was burning the candle at both ends (working 60+ hours, out late, up early etc) and like lovinglife if I overdo what my body can cope with "Carb Coma" is real and I just can't keep my eyes open15 is quite high, I know when I was undiagnosed and was running high without my knowing I could (and did) fall asleep standing up, it’s a common side effect of constant high B.G. I also get a tired feeling if I over indulge in carbs. Never really do it though as it makes me feel so yuck, Christmas is probably the only time.
Agree with the above. 15 for a standard reading is indicative of a BG issue.hey Folks, Hope we're all doing well
