Up to the 1 February I have been taking 2 Metformin per day, one morning and one evening.
At the time of taking the two tablets per day I was in the amber range 9.0 and 7.3 mmol/L.
About a month ago I went down to 1 tablet per day and my readings are 6.2, 6.6 and this morning 6.4 mmol/L, I only take readings around every 2 to 3 weeks.
It looks like the normal (green) readings start at 7.2 mmol/L downwards and the amber readings start at 7.3 mmol/L upwards.
Just a thought in these COVID times and am unable to get my yearly prescription review.
The Blood Glucose Monitoring System I am using is the Bluetooth True Metrix Air.
I am buying my own test strips as I’m told by my surgery that taking Sukkarto SR I don’t qualify to have them on prescription as I don’t need to be doing blood sugar tests.
