The above is direct from the manufacturer. You do need to tick to say you're diabetic so you don't pay VAT. Some buy from Amazon but I have bought direct from Homehealth. Buying in bulk either 5 or 10 packs works out at just over £5 for 1 pack of 50 strips.
Checking your bloods before a meal and 2 hours after is the best way to find out what you can eat and what is best avoided. We are all different so testing is helpful.
