Type 2. Travel Insurance.

3 months since diagnosis of type 2 mine levels are falling under medication.
What I'm asking I'm going on holiday next year my holiday insurance goes up with type 2.
Question is do you declare it on your insurance
 
I bought some travel insurance yesterday and declared it. A year's multi-trip for Europe was £55.

You do have to declare any pre-existing condition or your insurance will be invalid even if you claim for something unrelated.
I am in the same position as you. I took out Annual Worldwide insurance in February. I got diagnosed with T2 in August, but my HbAic has fallen to 44 at 3 month test. I have a holiday booked for January. I will be ringing the insurance company soon to notify them. I don't know how this will affect my insurance. They might exclude any diabetes related claim or increase my premium I guess.
 
You really do have top declare it or risk invalidating your cover. Provided you are not taking insulin, other "heavy" drugs or have complications, your diabetes shouldn't increase your premium. I had no increase whatsoever in my premium, and as I travel for multiples of months at a time, my insurance has to be extremely comprehensive.

When you come to renew, just go through the usual comparison sites, but make sure you declare it, or it's likely to be a complete waste of money. The point of claim, when you need help, really isn't the time to learn the gamble you took not to declare hasn't paid off.
