7.9 mmol/L - the lowest fasting result I've had in 6 months!!!

(Thursday.) Hi folks. I've been over indulging of late what with one Christmas "do" or another. Note to self: "Must not finish off all the pickled onions, hotdogs & cheese on sticks. Ermmm...nor the Chocolate Yule Log either. I don't even feel guilty. Lol. BG 5.2 this morning.

What am I doing wrong mine are always in the teens, when I first got up it was 13.6 had1cup of coffee went to see nurse and it was 14.6

What are your bedtime readings like? Could be a liver dump!

Mine used to be near 20 when I was first diagnosed so it can take time for them to come down.

Hello George, if i go to bed with readings around 5or6 overnight my levels would drop lower and if I don't waken and treat a hypo my liver jumps into action and releases stored glucose driving my levels up.
