Well done amgrundy, now keep it upHi all 6.9 this morning before breakfast, going to see the diabetic nurse this morning first appointment with her since I was diagnosed in early Jan 2016 this year. The first time I saw her was on the 5th Jan this year, she did my BG reading and it was 18.8 so she will be as surprised as me, but guess what I would never achieved this reading if it was not for this Diabetic UK website you have all been fantastic with your own knowledge passed on to all of us. Thankyou everyone.
I will thank you.Well done amgrundy, now keep it up

A lot if people on the forum find any virus, infection or inflammation effects there blood sugar. It is very common and some hospitals recognise it to. I know my hospital Lewisham in SE London do.9.1 this morning but when I went to bed last night it was 5.1.
However I have a cold lurking and was coughing all night, so I guess this would affect my bg.
About 8pm, and I didn't exercise afterwards. It will be disappointing if it was the chocolate as it was nice!Could be the chocolate What time roughly did you eat it and did you do any exercise after?
Glad your feeling better.Hi folks. BG this morning was 3.9 at 7.25am. Recovering from Pneumonia. Over the worst now. Lost 12lbs in 10 days though. Not all bad then.Hope everyone is well. Have a great day folks. X
