Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Went to bed 9.5, fbg this morning 9.1
Keep plugging away - you'll get there. It can take a little while to reduce BGs depending on the amount of stored glucose in your liver, and apparently the FBG can often be the last one to drop. But it will drop...

Fbg 6.3 with no insulin just metformin and diet. No supplements. Co-codamol and naproxen must be de-stressing my body. Metformin working well. Instructed to increase levothyroxine, so see if too much levothyroxine (overactive thyroid) raises my bgs?

5/10 - Morning.

4.9 - Yes!

Thanks @debrasue - Going to post about results to my Liver Biopsy.

Morning All

5.4 for me today, so getting back on track.

Still no alcohol last night, although I may have had a pint or 3 of the alcohol free stuff...

4.4 this morning
Hi everyone... about your fasting levels, are you all taking medication? I'm type 2, diet alone and I get the same fasting levels as most of you, between 5 and 5,7mmol , so this is a normal glucose reading for fasting, I wasn't too sure as I heard at 5.7 I should be on medication. I am not overweight...should I be taken medication? My post meal readings usually rise to about 8mmol. I am low carb and no sugar. Thank you

4.2 and I had decreased the Lantus last night by 1 unit to 7 units. It had been 3.5 for the last two days.
