4.5 this morning
And good morning all, it's a lovely day here let's hope to stays that way

Go on give us your blood!

5.0 this morning, been 1 month today since diagnosis. Looking back my first fasting level I recorded on the 15/04/15 was 13.3mmol.

Patiently waiting for the postman as I have run out of strips. Ordered more on Monday so they should be here today.

Edit: Oh dear, postman has been but no strips! Unusual as the supplier is fairly local...

It could be worth investigating a low carb diet (with more fat) as a way of tackling your cholesterol. It's counter-intuitive but the majority of those on a low carb diet report much-improved cholesterol profiles. Planning what you what you eat and optimising the kinds of fats (less Omega 6 and more Omega 3, especially fish oils with EPA and DHA) in your diet is highly recommended. Fruit and sweet/starchy veg probably won't be doing you any favours.

5.6 am, which is okay for me, last night was bonkers... pre 5.9 and post 5.9..... got a strep throat and just want to stuff food into my tum... it's not a hunger thing.... just physical... my pre are nearly in the 4's now... could have been a duff test but didn't have time for another.... fish was cooking...
