Wow that's a lot of walking, where abouts in the London area are you? I live in Grove Park5.7 this morning despite only 5 hours sleep and after an evening of food and drink yesterday, albeit with plenty of physical activity (walked from Euston to the Strand and back and also the mile from my local station to home). I don't usually test before bed but last night I did and it was 5.4. Will do some before and after meal tests later today.

Equally, you could be further above your target than your meter reading suggests.
