Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

Files and rasps I have heard of, but most definately not as a food. Could you tell me what are your type of 'rasps". Maybe short for raspberries?
Indeed Pasha, this part of the country is probably the best place for raspberries and I'll take them every day over strawberries, which are now grown forced under plastic and not nearly as good as they should be.
Love a Raspberry me.....
in fact it will be breakfast time soon.

5.2 this morning for me - unspectacular but not bad. Finally caved in to my sore quad and didn't exercise yesterday, which could explain the slightly higher reading :)
 
How do you do it ....drinking olive oil? May I ask, how many carbs per day do you eat? protein ?
Hi pasha ,i am eating 1200 cals a day in the form of 10% carb,20% protein,70% fat , breakfast: 100 g's fage greek yogurt with 100g's raspberries and fresh coffee with 2tblspns double cream, lunch:green salad ,romaine lettuce,celery,radishes,spring onions,2oz's chedder cheese.dinner: 4oz's fresh cod loin poached,6oz's of greens with butter. 8oz's of high protein shake for supper

5.6 which is about normal (for this pot of strips - thank you Pasha). Been struggling with sore leg, nerve damage due to an injury rather than neuropathy - hoping that settles down soon so I can do a bit more walking.

Will get my blood results at 11am , hoping for a big improvement on last time ...... Since findind this forum i've worked my butt off and applied alot of changes in all areas my life ...... feeling positive :D:D
 
Morning everyone:-)
Yesterday:
8pm - 1/4 of large Pukka chicken and gravy pie, small can of Tesco broad beans
10pm - BG 6.2
0am- BG 4.7
Today:
7.50am "fasting" BG - 6.5 :-/
Any thoughts why? I decided to have only meds, coffee with full fat milk and xylitol, no breakfast and will check at 9.50am. I feel good and no hunger at all:-o

AND:
My scale showed 119.4 kg, which is 400 gr less than yesterday:-)
I therefore officially seem to have broken the ONE STONE LESS barrier:-D

thank you on what a stone is , ill write that down so i know , went to Dr.Google printed the converson chart : usa standard to metric units & metric units to usa standard. :bookworm:
Yep can be a bit confusing at times.

Hello from sunny Newcastle Upon Tyne.
A surprising 5.3 this morning. Expected it to be alot higher as I hadn't eaten for over 15 hours.
Had an upset stomach so just wasn't hungry, hence the big gap.

5.5 this morning. up from 4.8 yesterday.
ate exactly the same things in almost the same quantities in the last two days. :)
