Hello everyone, from a surprisingly sunny Brumm;-)
A bit late, but been rather confused with some weird readings...
After a nice 5.5 on 25th late evening, I had aprox 150 gr home roast peanuts and sugar free blackcurrant cordial around 10pm, watching movies. Next day, the 26th around 5am I had a surprising 6.5 which went down to 5.7 two hours after a substantial breakfast.
At about 9.30pm, I had 5.6 four hours after last meal...
Today, fasting at around 8am was 5.4. I decided to cut breakfast and had a white coffee with Xylitol, followed by a reading around 12/noon of 5.8:-o which is ok for me, but can someone explain please:|
I'll come back with late tonight's reading:-)
Thanks in advance;-)

For those who remember me being so excited about losing 1 Stone, which is a bit more than 6 kg, have a look of what that might look like:-o
This morning as I passed by the spreads/butter counter in asda, I noticed packages of lard, each of 250 grams. I put together 24 packages, the equivalent of 6 kg, and I looked at it, fairly shocked:| Is this similar to what I've lost in weight?:-o :-o :-o 1435427069082.jpg

Fantastic moshebenyehuda, sometimes the visual evidence speaks the loudest. Keep up the good work.

Back as I promissed:
I decided today to experiment with something I haven't since I took my testing seriously, i.e. takeaway:-(
I had to try, as I didn't know how much the carbs soaked into the oil and chicken, plus a very small handful of chips will influence my BS.
Unfortunately I haven't got the chance to check two hours later, but I did two hours after a light supper of boiled veg and boiled chicken, plus a handful of peanuts. The result was 7.1 which is still within limits but nearly 2 units above the average for the past two weeks.
Conclusion: except for exceptional circumstane like "OMG I have to eat a piece of fried chicken or I'll die", takeaway and any amount of potatoes is a no-go:-/ and given the experience of past days, I seem to have mild level raises after peanuts, even if dry, home roast, so bye-bye peanut munchies:-/
Anyway, I felt quite OK, except my head which slightly painful, behaved on its own;-)
I'll be back tomorrow morning, Good night all:-)
